Why is it so important to introduce your child to music at such a young age?

Music is such an important part of a child’s development and self-expression. Researchers have found a significant relationship between music instruction and positive achievement in reading, math, listening skills, primary skills (verbal, perceptual, numeric, spatial) and motor skills.  It is also said that music helps develop concentration, hand eye-co-ordination, self-confidence and patience.
